Dr. Aimee Manion

Dr. Aimee Manion has supported the Miami VA as an executive leader. In doing so, she has fully supported the facilitation in providing comprehensive Spiritual and Pastoral Care to Veterans in South Florida, including primary care, mental health, specialty care and surgical services. In addition, her support of caring for the human spirit through Chaplain Services at the Miami VA extends to geriatric care in our 4-story community living center alongside our spinal cord injury center located on the main campus. Her commitment to the sacred space of spiritual care demonstrates that spiritual care can be provided by all. This is displayed in her support of helping veterans in distress and illness find a means of comfort, meaning and purpose through revolutionary spiritual care, utilizing innovative technologies, multi-tier platforms, broad-based programming, championing staff resiliency, and leveraging stakeholder engagement to maximize the spiritual component of Veteran and family health outcomes.
