HealthCare Chaplaincy - Andrew E. Slaby, M.D., Ph.D., M.P.H.

Andrew Edmund Slaby, M.D., Ph.D., MPH, a psychiatrist specializing in depression and crisis intervention, is clinical professor of psychiatry at New York University School of Medicine, and an adjunct professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, New York Medical College. Previously, he was medical director, Fair Oaks Hospital, Summit, New Jersey. Dr. Slaby is a member of the National Board of the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention, and serves on the board of the International Academy of Law & Mental Health. He is also past president of the American Association of Suicidology.
