HealthCare Chaplaincy - Wellington Chen

Wellington Z. Chen is executive director of the Chinatown Partnership, responsible for its overall direction, including strategic planning, setting policy and serving as the public representative of the organization. He was the first Asian American to serve as a commissioner on the New York City Board of Standards and Appeals. Wellington is an architect by training, having worked for I.M. Pei from 1980 to 1985. He has been a member of Community Board 7Q for 13 years and sits on a number of other boards including the City University of New York and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Wellington was born in Taiwan and grew up in Singapore, Hong Kong and Brazil.
