HealthCare Chaplaincy - Scott C. Amrhein, M.P.H.

Scott C. Amrhein is president of the Continuing Care Leadership Coalition, an affiliate of the Greater New York Hospital Association that represents more than 100 not-for-profit and public continuing care provider organizations. He is responsible for guiding advocacy efforts in Washington, Albany, and the New York metropolitan area, and directing its educational, policy, and consultative efforts on behalf of its continuing care members. Between 1985 and 1996, Scott served as the legislative assistant in charge of health care policy in the office of U.S. Senator Alfonse D'Amato. In this capacity he played an active role in health policy matters before the Senate Appropriations and Finance Committees. Scott holds a Masters of Public Health degree from Columbia University and a BA degree from Hope College.
