Sheila Safeeia Carrington

I have known Ms. Carrington, for over the past 20 years, to many she is known as Lady Carrington. Of a truth, I can say, that, I have found her to be of exceptional character, poised, charm and wisdom. Lady Carrington is one that will lead when necessary, her capabilities, revolves around her work, she is known to work tirelessly to ensure that every assignment is completed even down to the smallest detail. Even if the assignment goes into the wee hours of the morning, Ms. Carrington will be there.
Lady Carrington is by no means one dimensional, she labors for everyone, no matter where you hail from, no matter what the religious belief system, ethnicity, cultural background, sexual orientation, barriers, socio-economic status or language., etc. She gives of herself, her time, talents and momentary seven days a week. Her phone is never turned-off.
Her love for the our most vulnerable and sometimes invisible population, our elderly/seniors runs deep. Lady Carrington has assisted many with saving their homes, including but not limited to: Avoiding evictions, homelessness, hunger. etc. she was doing all of this, even though, she herself was experiencing hardships.
Despite having a Master’s in Social Worker, a known Communicator, she knows how to make you feel like you’re on her level and when in her presence, she makes you feel like you are the only one present. You, the audience of one. When or if you have an encounter with her, you can be assured that, you will receive a warm Welcomes you with laughter that is spontaneous and infectious.
Lady Carrington has played many roles in the marketplace including, working in Corporate settings to Drop in Centers but yet her attitude remains humble.
Lady Carrington eulogized five beloved family members within the past few years, but she could still be found helping those who was also bereaved of their family members.
During the Pandemic. Lady Carrington was found traveling with a Team from homes to homes to ensure many had needed Food: PPE Supplies, and other needed services.
I am honored to write this missive on behalf of one of the most professional, caring and courageous woman I have ever met. May God add increase to her efforts and crowned them with much success.
