500+ Guests Celebrated HealthCare Chaplaincy’s 50th Anniversary at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel on November 3, 2011
For fifty years HealthCare Chaplaincy has been privileged to quietly care for the soul of the great city of New York. We have helped more than five million people in the metropolitan area find meaning and comfort.
On November 3rd, Mayor Michael Bloomberg graciously recognized our service by proclaiming “HealthCare Chaplaincy Day in New York City.”
That evening we paused to honor with gratitude and esteem those who partner with us in the noble enterprise of caring for the whole person.
HealthCare Chaplaincy has now begun its second half century. We are committed to continue to lead in the research, education, and practice of spirit-centered palliative care.
Here are a handful of photos from that magnificent evening which raised $1 million in support of HealthCare Chaplaincy’s research and education programs.
