Hospitality Launches
Chaplaincy¡¯s
Benefit Dinner Season
For
the third year in a row, Josie Robertson
and her husband, Julian H. Robertson,
chairman of Tiger Management who is known
as the ¡°Wizard of Wall Street,¡± kicked
off the Chaplaincy's ¡¯s Wholeness of Life
Awards benefit dinner by hosting a cocktail
party in their Fifty-Ninth Street home.
Chaplaincy friends enjoyed the late October
evening on a terrace overlooking Central
Park, and mingled indoors amidst the
couple¡¯s striking art collection.
¡°We are grateful to the Robertson¡¯s
for opening their home to us. Their warm,
festive hospitality was once again a
wonderful prelude to our dinner,¡± said
the Rev. Dr. Walter J. Smith, S.J., the Chaplaincy's ¡¯s CEO. Magnanimous supporters
of healthcare, arts, and youth organizations,
Josie and Julian received the 2001 Wholeness
of Life Award for their steadfast commitment
to all things that nurture both body
and soul.
