Healing Moments

Facing an illness can be confusing, disheartening, even terrifying. Chaplains are educated to be present for patients, families, and staff members as they face life’s most challenging moments.

These testaments to hope and healing, from the files of The HealthCare Chaplaincy, are inspired by that intense human interaction and care of the spirit. You’ll read accounts from patients, chaplains, student-chaplains, and hospital staff. Reading through these stories, you will see that spiritual care is a two-way journey—patients and chaplains alike are moved by these “healing moments.”
