The nonprofit multifaith HealthCare Chaplaincy is developing the National Center for Palliative Care Innovation, the first of its kind in the United States. It will be housed in a 184,500 square foot, green and sustainable (LEED certified) building in Lower Manhattan at 261 South Street.
The National Center will integrate comprehensive palliative care in an assisted living model and demonstrate that bettercare depends on the quality, not the quantity of care.
