in our midtown campus
for one semester, teach
one graduate seminar,
and conduct research
consistent with the
mission of The Chaplaincy

Desirable Qualities:
- Earned
doctorate from a
regionally-accredited
institution in pastoral
counseling, psychology,
social work, adult
education, or religion
- Two
years of experience
as a certified CPE
supervisor, or an
M.Div. and ordination
by a faith tradition
- Publication
record and promise
as a pastoral scholar
- Five
years of graduate
teaching and advising

APA Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship
The HealthCare Chaplaincy invites individuals to apply for its Templeton sponsored two-year spirituality and health post-doctoral research fellowship to begin between June and September 2008. The Fellow will join The Chaplaincy’s well published multi-faith research team, and assist in designing, conducting, analyzing, and reporting original research. Prior published behavioral research on religion and health is desirable, but not essential. The fellowship includes an annualized stipend of $48,000, plus health insurance coverage.
Send a cover letter describing professional interests and goals, official graduate transcripts, current curriculum vita, re/preprints (if available), and three letters of recommendation to the Templeton Post-Doctoral Program, The HealthCare Chaplaincy, 307 East 60th Street, New York, New York, 10022-1505.
