 Tom Brasco is the COO of the U. S. Private Wealth Management business. Prior to this role, Tom served in a number of positions at Goldman Sachs, including CFO of the Investment Management Division, which provides investment advisory and financial planning services and offers investment products, to both institutional and individual clients worldwide. He was also head of Global Securities Services International, which provides prime brokerage and financing and securities lending services, primarily to hedge funds. He started his career at Goldman Sachs in Investment Banking. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Tom worked at Kidder, Peabody & Co., for five years as a vice president in its Mergers and Acquisitions Department. He also served as a nuclear submarine officer in the U. S. Navy for six years before attending graduate school. Tom also serves on the board of directors of The United States Naval Academy Foundation and Keep America Beautiful.
