Michael H. Schoen is a Managing Director of Credit Suisse in the Investment Banking division, based in New York. He is Head of Debt Capital Markets for Latin America and CEEMEA (Central/Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa), responsible for overseeing the origination and execution of all debt transactions from those regions. Michael joined Credit Suisse in November 2000 when that bank merged with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, where he was a member of the High Yield Capital Markets group. Prior to that, Michael worked at J.P. Morgan and Lehman Brothers in their respective Emerging Markets groups.
Michael graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a B.S. in Management from the Sloan School of Management. He remains involved with MIT, serving on Corporation Visiting Committee for the Department of Athletics, Physical Education, and Recreation as well as the Corporation Development Committee. Michael is also a member of the Foundation Board of The Ohio State University's Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute.
