 Irene McGrath McCreery was born and raised in New York and spent over 30 years as an independent school administrator, first at the Anglo American International School, then at the Marymount School, and lastly at the Chapin School. Her philanthropic commitments have included the parish council of St. Agnes Church, the alumnae board of the Convent of the Sacred Heart, the board of trustees of Catholic Big Sister and Big Brothers, the board of directors of the Mountbatten Institute and the Order of Malta.
