 Ellen J. Roth, LCSW, has had a professional career as a clinical social worker. For 30 years she has maintained a private practice in New York devoted to individual and couples psychotherapy. In addition Ellen has served as a clinical casework supervisor at the Jewish board of Family and Children’s Services, and as a staff supervisor and teacher at the Postgraduate Center for Mental Health. Ellen has been active with numerous mental health and social service organizations, serving as counselor, staff therapist, or instructor. She has been an active member of the National Association of Social Workers and the New York State Society for Clinical Social Work. She received her MSW degree from Fordham University, a Master of Science degree in Community Health Education from Hunter College and a BS in Education from the University of Vermont.
